Arizona Opera will be producing the world premiere of a new opera, Riders of the Purple Sage, based on Zane Grey’s famous novel. This opera is composed by Craig Bohmler, adapted by Steven Mark Kohn and features scenic sets painted by world-renowned Arizona artist Ed Mell.

We were fortunate to have Craig make a presentation at the Florida convention, providing us with fascinating details regarding his inspiration and how it all came together so fortuitously.
