George Washington, Frontiersman DVD (2011)

George Washington, Frontiersman DVD (2011)
George Washington, Frontiersman, was Zane Grey's last novel. He wrote it shortly before his death in 1939. This novel is a fictionalized account of George Washington's life before the Revolutionary War. Grey used historical references, including Washington's own diaries, to place the story. Grey was historically accurate in his account of Washington's travels during this time.

This DVD features a presentation Chuck Pfeiffer made at the 2011 ZGWS Convention held in Willliamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Pfeiffer walks us through the story and provides a photo slide show of the locations of the story, from Virginia to Pennsylvania and into the Ohio River country. In this work, Grey weaves in his ancestors, the Zanes, and other frontiersman such as Lew Wetzel and Daniel Boone, in a very realistic portrayal of his journeys. Mr. Pfeiffer provides an enchanting look into the geography of this story. This DVD comes in a protective jewel case.
