Zane Grey at Overfalls

Several Newfoundlands told us about a chimney from a cabin near Overfalls on the Grand Codroy River.  Word of mouth passed down through the generations is that Zane Grey stayed there. Unfortunately, there was no documentation to tie Zane Grey to that chimney.

Then we came across a painting by Clayton Hann entitled Zane Grey at Overfalls, Grand Codroy River 1929.  Since finding his wonderful work, Clayton has been in touch and provided the documentation we needed from a story, "The Cabin" by Cyril Goodyear with Hann's artwork included which you can read by clicking here.
