Movie Poster Image One Sheet - Zane Grey's 1932 South Sea Adventures

There are multiple styles of movie posters.  The earlier pages in this exhibit depict lobby cards.  Lobby cards, as stated, were intended for movie theaters to display in the lobbies of their theaters and were 11 x 14 inches.  There were typically 8 cards in the set (on later films,  like this one, the first card in the set was designated as the Title card and was typically the best image in the set).  However, there are other types of movie posters with the most common being one sheets.  These posters were 27 x 41 inches and are the most collected of the various movie posters.  This image is of the one sheet poster for this movie.

The posters for this movie are extremely rare and highly sought after.
