ZANE GREY ON FISHING
is a new hardback published by The Lyons Press. The foreword is
by Loren Grey and the introduction by the editor, Terry Mort.
The book is 267 pages with an additional 32 pages of photos.
The selections represent some of Zane Grey's best angling writing.
The book is organized geographically, so that we follow Zane Grey
from Lackawaxen to Southern California, Florida, Nova Scotia,
The Pacific Northwest, New Zealand, Tahiti, Australia, Mexico
and The Galapagos.
The editor,
Terry Mort, has degrees in literature from Princeton University
and the University of Michigan. He is the author of The Reasonable
Art of Fly Fishing as well as numerous articles in outdoor magazines.
Moreover, he is the author of a trilogy of western novels that
will be published starting in 2004. He was born in Ohio and now
lives in Arizona. With that kind of background he has a particular
fondness for Zane Grey.
The book is
available in bookstores, but if you'd like a signed copy you can
order directly from Terry Mort. His e mail address is tamort@dakotacom.net.
He'll be happy to send it to you along with payment information.
