Discussion: Harpers editions to 1915 are 389 pages. Harpers 1924 edition reset the book , pages totaled 378 (page numbers are at the top of the page rather than at the bottom). I can think of no other example of where Harpers reset the book other than the Riders 1921 edition. Perhaps the 10 year lag between editions (1914 to 1924) accounted for this. Such a lag time between Harpers editions, while not unique, seems also uncommon. The Grosset editions (presumably October 1915 and January 1917) would suggest that publishing rights went from Harpers to Grosset to Harpers and presumably back to Grosset.
